just the notion that we like to make shit
& could do some shit w/ it someday,
when Illegal Tendr was a mere idea in the making
& all we knew was all we were:
a circle of close friends aspiring to create their own living-

For feeling like there’s not much time to spare these days, it’s extremely humbling to see how far we’ve come from February 2012. At that point, we started building this brand and brainstorming ways to make our passions our connection to others. Piles of resource collecting (information and inventory), and countless business meeting Wednesdays later, we launched the blog this past August. Through that & ever since, the rewarding challenge of mixing business with pleasure has taught & tested us, but enabled growth we never imagined to experience.

& Still, all we know is all we are: Four close friends that want to give their lifestyle more meaning- that still believe the power of art overrules the power of money, & that still want to see this city flourish with culture like we know it can. We strive to be a catalyst to it all, & after a year we’ve learned that our friendship will just have to endure more than the average. The progress so far has been worth it & in the end we’re still each other’s best accessory. The journey is still unfolding, & tougher challenges are sure to come, but with all we’ve accomplished & learned, we can’t say we’re any less than blessed. Happy One Year to us Tendroni’s, *cheers*
